Happy 3-Minute Thursday!

You are busy, so let's make this quick. No fluff, no filler, no spamming. Just three minutes each week could change everything.

Minute 1 - How to accomplish big things.

Remember that the simple things you do every single day provide the groundwork for the big moments that come along. If you want to excel on special occasions, don't spend your normal days browsing TikTok endlessly.

Roman philosopher Seneca once said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” Which is why, if you want to do something significant in your life, work hard each day to move closer to your ambitions.

Minute 2 - Where thoughts are framed.

French philosopher Gilles Deleuze:

The problem is no longer getting people to express themselves but providing little gaps of solitude and silence in which they might eventually find something to say. … What a relief to have nothing to say, the right to say nothing, because only then is there a chance of framing … the thing that might be worth saying.

There are a lot of talkative people in the world. Don't be one of them. If you don't give your thoughts time to be framed before you speak, how will you know if what you have to say is important?

Minute 3 - Reflection about unreturned results.

When in your life did your unrelenting pursuit of success, happiness, or love cause you to get farther and further away from really achieving those goals?

  • I used to put my work and achievement above everything else, including my health, my relationships, and my personal life.
  • The constant affirmation I received from social media led me to become dependent on it. As a result, I began to feel lonely and cut off from actual human connection.
  • These days, I feel perpetually dissatisfied and nervous because I want to achieve perfection in every area of my life. I struggle with impostor syndrome and always comparing myself to others.
When did your constant search for success, happiness, or love take you further away from those things? I want to hear from you. Send your reflections or thoughts by simply replying to this email.
